New Sioux Falls Lake

For the first time in decades, Sioux Falls area paddlers will have a new body of water to explore. Family Park, a new park on the northwest side of Sioux Falls, opens November 25th. Although this isn't a large lake, it does give area residents the opportunity for a quick paddle without traveling.

Motorized boating is prohibited.

The lake is located near the intersection of 12th Street & Ellis Rd.
