Greetings!!

I was wondering if I can get some advice from your group. We are considering canoeing the entire length of the James River in South Dakota. Is there anyone who I can get in touch with that has done this before? We would like to do a section at a time on the weekends, so it could in reality take a while. We are novices at canoeing and wondering how much distance you could cover in a weekend. I understand there are a lot of factors involved in calculating this, but I am looking for a ball park figure for a group that is not in a hurry on a river that is below flood stage. Also how long is the James River in South Dakota? Is there any documents giving the lengths of different sections of this river? Any advice or ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!!
